If someone followed you or even engaged with your tweets. Then you were curious who that person was, checked his profile, then you found<\/p>\n

Nothing.<\/p>\n

You didn\u2019t find anything about his profile. You don\u2019t what that person or brand does, or what value can you get from that person.<\/p>\n

You didn\u2019t even find anything in common with that person!<\/p>\n

So, what do you think you\u2019ll do?<\/p>\n

You\u2019d probably ignore that account and go on with your day.<\/p>\n

Actually, I\u2019m seeing a ton of accounts wasting the opportunity to get followers just because their profiles suck.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s why today, I\u2019ll show you the top 5 profile mistakes you should avoid so you can get more followers with your profile alone.<\/p>\n

#1 It\u2019s an empty space<\/strong><\/p>\n

I kid you not. I\u2019m seeing a ton of Twitter profiles without anything in it.<\/p>\n

ZERO. It\u2019s like oblivion in that Twitter profile.<\/p>\n

What do you do? Are you even real? Is this a bot?<\/p>\n

Sometimes bots have even better profiles because at least they have something there (even though it\u2019s nonsense)<\/p>\n

So please, put something. Anything. If you like hotdogs, put hotdogs.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t leave it blank.<\/p>\n

#2 There\u2019s a barrage of hashtags<\/strong><\/p>\n

#what #if #you #saw #something #like #this #in #a #Twitter #profile?<\/p>\n

It hurts right? I mean, imagine seeing something like that. You\u2019d probably run.<\/p>\n

As much as possible, keep your hashtags to 1-2.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s either your main topic, or your own hashtag<\/p>\n

Like #TomTalks or #TwitterTom (if you like something like this let me know \ud83d\ude09)<\/p>\n

#3 You look like a looney tunes character<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019m not saying you look like a looney tunes character. What I\u2019m saying is your profile looks entirely like somebody else.<\/p>\n

Remember, people follow real people.<\/p>\n

Unless you already have a personal brand where you don\u2019t really show your face.<\/p>\n

Otherwise, use your real face. Your chances of getting more followers will be higher.<\/p>\n

#4 The \u201cConvert or You\u2019ll die\u201d approach<\/strong><\/p>\n

I know Call-to-Actions are important, but please, don\u2019t shove it down your potential followers.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t start your profile with \u201cFollow me for (blah blah blah)\u201d.<\/p>\n

Instead of them following you, I\u2019m pretty sure they\u2019ll do their absolute best to NOT follow you.<\/p>\n

Keep that in mind.<\/p>\n

#5 You don\u2019t have a link<\/strong><\/p>\n

You don\u2019t need to have a website if you don\u2019t have one.<\/p>\n

As long as you have a place where your potential followers can check more about what you do, or who you are, then you’re good.<\/p>\n

With this approach, you give them the opportunity to explore what you do and what you can offer.<\/p>\n

This opens the possibility of them bringing revenue to your business if you have one.<\/p>\n

Now that you know these 5 mistakes, make sure you check your profiles after you read this email.<\/p>\n
